A pub with history

Parts of the pub date back as far as 1580, and the historic building exudes age-old character and charm. Inside you’ll discover some fine architectural features, including the old porch bearing the family crest of the original owners.

More importantly, you’ll also find a comfortable and cosy bar - where cracking real ales, excellent wines, plentiful soft drinks and a proper warm welcome await.

There’s a pub quiz here too, held on the first Sunday of every month at 7:00pm (£2 per person with proceeds going to charity). Don’t miss your chance to take the crown at the Kings Head.

Back to its old fantastic self...

Villagers and fans of this very special pub will be cheered to find out that it has returned to its former glory days. Brilliant well cooked and presented starters; the main meals were perfectly cooked with accompanying freshly cooked vegetables...

Super friendly staff, the food was amazing. We had Camembert, mussels and the pie of the day. It was absolutely gorgeous, you have to try it.
